Jun 04, 2008 GBA Fire Emblem animations are AWESOME. Anyone who says otherwise really needs their head examined. Like a previous post says, it seems the only complaint is the lack of distinct frames, but you don't need a lot of frames for nice looking animation.
- That divine love is expressed in scripture-language by the word fire, is well. Because fire corresponds to love as its proper emblem, and therefore is put for it:'. Of a society of christians, animated with the spirit of divine love and philanthropy,.

Document the 0219 and 0206 prototypes.Fire Emblem is actually the seventh game in the series, the second one for Game Boy Advance and the first one that was released worldwide. Originally subtitled Rekka no Ken in Japan, which can be translated as 'Sword of Flame' or 'Blazing Blade', Nintendo omitted this from the English title in a vain attempt to pass it off as a new IP to the rest of the world and not just the latest entry of a long-running Japanese series that they suddenly started localizing (thinking that people would somehow forget that and had already showed up in prior to this).
Incidentally, this is a prequel to Roy's game starring his father Eliwood. In the game there are buildings called arenas where units can fight and gain experience. Within the game there is unused text and other data that appears to have at one point triggered a more difficult set of arena enemies; the text suggests this mode would have been triggered if a particular unit fights and wins in the arena excessively. This was presumably intended to prevent the player from over-leveling their characters. The mode and associated unused text is also present, and also unused, in.The mode is triggered if bits 0x8 and either 0x2 or 0x4 (or both) of byte 0xE of ram character data are set.

These values are not set in normal gameplay rendering this feature of the arena impossible to trigger. If forced to occur the arena starts matching that particular unit with more difficult battles and displays the unused text upon that unit entering the arena. Also of note the text has slight display errors when scrolling; cementing this feature as unused as the text formatting was not corrected.Welcome to the arena.Oh! It's you again.I've lost a lot of goldthanks to you.If you want to continue,we're going to have todo things differently.I'm going to prepare somemore challenging foes. There are two unused map sprites in the game, neither of which have a proper battle animation.
Fire Emblem Gba Animations
The first is the map sprite for Echidna (e.g. Female Hero) which was leftover from Fuuin no Tsurugi.
The second map sprite is a slightly reworked version of a mercenary sprite from an early build of Fuuin no Tsurugi. This sprite can be seen in one of the earliest images of the previous game. Few assets as early as the above sprite remain in the final game, which might indicate that the sprite was planned to be used late in development. Transfer DataThe Transfer Data menu button exists for every language, but there wasn't any method in Europe for getting it. However, the US MKDD Bonus Disc can be used for getting it.Title ScreenThe Japanese version has leftover Fuuin no Tsurugi title screen graphics.Unused Text IntroThe Japanese version has alternate intro graphics written in English, like in. Unlike that game though, the translation is horrible.
The used text in the intro is in regular Japanese. There was a continent where 'people' anda 'dragon' live together a long time ago. Both they were living by not invading. However suddenly The balance was tornby invasion of 'people.' Fighting has also changed naturalprovidence. This to fight was called'war of a dragon and a man.' The defeated dragon disappearedto somewherePeople who won made it steady andlengthened power. And about 1000 years after. In the 'Battle History' in the 'Extras' menu, hold Select for a few moments.
After a little while, a screen with a password will pop up. How the password is generated is unknown, but save states show the password includes a clocktick based RNG, which differs from how the game normally handles RNG. Aside from generating the password, the screen doesn't do anything. The screen cannot be exited, so the game needs to be reset after doing this. This was apparently for some sort of contest on the game's official Japanese website, though no official materials outside of Japan are known to acknowledge this feature, despite it being accessible in non-Japanese copies.

Information on the contest itself is slim.
James rates this game: 5/5Marshall your forces and draw your steel-Fire Emblem has arrived. Fire Emblem combines strategy and role-playing in a story heavy on royal intrigue and backstabbing. As a military strategist, you must choose the best method of attack whether it is swooping from the sky with your Pegasus Knights or striking with a phalanx of armored juggernauts to crush the opposition. With dozens of soldiers, weapons, and magic spells at your service, Fire Emblem equips you with everything you need to dominate the battlefield.
LunarisX rates this game: 4/5Fire Emblem (for you Japanese people, Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken) is a Turn Based Strategy game where you control units on a map and complete the objective for each chapter. Throughout the chapters, you meet new allies and level up your units as you progress through the game. The game has well thought out mechanics and a very in-depth plot with many twists. You start ('you' as in there is a character who actually represents you, the player) as a traveler who is a strategist by trade.
YOU are found unconscious in the plains of Sacae by a girl named Lyn and you help her return to Caelin because she wants to see her dying grandfather who happens to be the marquis (king) of Caelin. Throughout the game, you meet two others of the 'Lord' class, named Eliwood and Hector who happen to have a story all of their own after you're finished with Lyn. Overall, it is a very good and well thought-out game. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it got a bit explanation happy.
